More Pictures of Christ Church

Some more views of Christ Church. The large hall that looks like a church is really the dining hall, the inspiration for the Dining Hall in the Harry Potter movies. In fact, the large staircase up to it was used in the movie. The students apparently do not like all the tourists...it is a real, working college dining hall and as I was there, a large group of schoolchildren appeared. The college chases the tourists out when it is time for the students to eat, but there is still tension. (One of the Porters told me that..)
